The Dawn

The dawn is a wonderful time. The world is still and quiet, waiting for the new day to start. There are so many possibilities for what it might bring, but in the dawning one is simply content to sit and feel the peace and magic of a beauty that is thunderous in its silence.

    1. I suppose that's why I enjoy art so much, I love how one can look at a painting and identify exactly with the moment and feeling the artist is trying to create because you've experienced yourself.

  2. I love the post, and couldn't agree more... the last Maxfield Parish painting is a favorite. I've been enjoying waking up at the crack of dawn again, now that the sun has started making an appearance instead of gray old snow-clouds.

But I still can't help a mean question-- do you speak from personal experience, these days, or is your experience of dawn more secondhand?? (Wicked grin.)
