There's an old house down the street from us that hasn't had anyone living in it for years. Those are the best kind, because the lawns get overgrown with flowers and vines, and the trees grow wild and blossom as much as they want. This spring, it's really gone wild.
Is somewhere in the world really this colourful at this very moment? It's almost painful to contemplate. HA! It snowed here today, but over in my own blogosphere I'm pretending it didn't happen and I posted pictures from a garden tour. However, your shots are just a delight. To think that's what it looks like somewhere today...sigh. Thanks for posting.
ReplyDeleteYeah; I concur with Kathleen, wistfully. It isn't snowing here but yesterday the rain turned to ice on the trees. These pictures are glorious!! We are in bloom, but not in full glory. Sigh. Waiting for May...
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful~
ReplyDeleteOh, poor Kathleen! I wish I could send some of it your way. Spring in this area is really stunning. The spring beauties on the lawns make it look like a snowstorm came through there are so many, and there are lots of flowering trees around the drop their petals all over everything.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!

Thank you! Violets are one of my favorite flowers, and they're everywhere this spring.
