Up north there are at least lilacs and roses; not quite the same, but still lovely. :DGracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10147916047948858714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7118292019822561715.post-22744462388518909272013-01-13T13:40:01.318-08:002013-01-13T13:40:01.318-08:00I remember living in Tennessee and how amazingly ...I remember living in Tennessee and how amazingly uncomfy the summers were! I used to think if I got up at 6AM that I could beat the heat. No dice! I do miss the smell of magnolia trees and honeysuckle. There's really nothing in the north here that is comparable to those smells. Sigh.

Lovely painting!!Tina@thriftingwithcake.blogspot.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03905141056882884552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7118292019822561715.post-53298932853616833472013-01-05T09:30:42.561-08:002013-01-05T09:30:42.561-08:00Yes... at least here, things are still somewhat gr...Yes... at least here, things are still somewhat green and I can go outside without a coat and not turn blue instantly. Since I can't have snow, I can at least still be outside.Gracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10147916047948858714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7118292019822561715.post-87440565247599950132013-01-05T09:02:07.849-08:002013-01-05T09:02:07.849-08:00Sigh. I am trying faithfully to enjoy the winter and not to write to longingly of spring yet... but I will be posting something similar before long, no doubt. Even with snow, being stuck indoors without birds and flowers and plenty of sunshine, the wintry blues prowl around the house, seeking whom they may devour. ;)Aniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16081532061650767209noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7118292019822561715.post-62598132119055932912013-01-04T16:52:37.154-08:002013-01-04T16:52:37.154-08:00Oooh, this is lovely!!Oooh, this is lovely!!Gracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10968658172740134718noreply@blogger.com
